Description: The main mission of DIMF is to make closest European and East European musicians, let young and talented musicians meet each other in such beautiful place as Dilijan.
DIMF will pick up participants from Zvartnots International Airport on theirs arrival and will cover all transportation expenses within Armenia. There are also possibilities to take an additional tours in historical places of Armenia (optional).
From 23rd May until 1st June 2005 Chamber and Symphonic Orchestras, Brass Bands and Chamber choirs of all nationalities are welcome to participate on Dilijan International Music Festival. For 2 best groups (selection will be made according with public elections) there are prizes and diplomas. Concerts will take place in "Beethoven''s name Music Hall" in the Composer''s house and in Big Music Hall in Dilijan as well as open sky concerts. The Gala concert will take place in capital of Armenia - Yerevan, in National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre on 1st June 2005. There are NO participation or administrative fees to participate.

Description: The ICA FolkFest is Victoria's premiere and longest running multicultural arts festival. With an annual attendance of over 150,000, the festival is the single largest outdoor event on Vancouver Island. We want to embrace the public to make them understand the reasons we need to stop the destruction that we see today, and education is just the key to end that destruction in the future. Description: The festival will feature many of the time-honored events which have become so popular including seed-spitting, watermelon eating and other melon-related events. Description: SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- The 2nd Annual McDowell Mountain Music Festival, which will feature a full schedule of top bands, headliners and local groups, known nationally as well as locally, will be held April 29-30, 2005 at WestWorld 16601 N. Pima Road in Scottsdale.
Designed to promote community involvement, the event will feature continuous music entertainment from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, April 29 and 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 30.
Advance purchase tickets are $33 for Friday, $38 for Saturday and $65 for the weekend. At the gate, tickets are $38, $43 and $75. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Overnight camping in tents and motor homes is available.
Music will cover all tastes, including rhythm and blues, Cajun, SKA, bluegrass and jazz.
Proceeds will benefit Arizona Quest for Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides adult mentors and college scholarships to talented and deserving children from low-income homes, and the Phoenix Day Child & Family Learning Center in South Phoenix where a secure learning environment is provided so parents may maintain meaningful employment.
